When the goals are achieved, high-speed trains will pass from 29 provinces including Yozgat, Trabzon, Diyarbakır and Malatya as well as cities such as Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Sivas and Bursa. The cost of this is approximately 45 billion dollars. 25-30 billion dollars of this money will be provided from China. In accordance with the 'Railway Cooperation Agreement', the Chinese will build the 7 thousand 18-kilometer high-speed railway line. The remaining 2 thousand 924 kilometers will be made with Railways' own resources and foreign loans. The Chinese will start by building the 3 kilometer line from Edirne to Kars, including the Speed ​​Railway, which turns into a snake story because the "Ayaş Tunnel" could not be passed. With the completion of the line, the travel time, which is 636 hours by road, will be between 16,5 and 8 hours. While the Chinese are building the Edirne-Kars line, they will also construct the 9-kilometer Erzincan-Trabzon and Yerköy-Kayseri lines.

Fast trains will pass through four cities in the Central Anatolia Region. Konya is at the top of these. Another route is the Ankara-Sivas line of 466 kilometers. Construction work continues on this line. However, the high-speed train will leave Yozgat 30 kilometers before Yerköy and arrive in the city center. Then he will continue to Sivas. High speed trains from Ankara or Istanbul will also go to Kayseri via Yerköy. Thus, Ankara-Yozgat will be 1,5 hours by high-speed train and 2 hours and 30 minutes between Ankara and Kayseri.

Ankara and Istanbul will also connect Antalya to high-speed trains. From Ankara, following the Konya-Manavgat route, Antalya will be reached in 2 hours and 45 minutes. 714 kilometers between Istanbul and Antalya will be taken in 4 hours and 30 minutes.

ANKARA-KONYA STARTED IN MAYIA

Ankara-Konya line, which has been running trial runs since December 17, was built at a speed of 275 kilometers. However, the speed of the train will not exceed 250 kilometers per hour. The State Railways plans to build high-speed train between Konya and Adana.
