Chairman of the Human Rights Investigation Commission of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Ayhan Sefer ÜSTÜN, Chairman of the Refugees Sub-Committee, Samsun Deputy Cemal Yılmaz DEMİR, members; İzmir Deputy Hamza DAĞ, Kahramanmaraş Deputy Nevzat PAKDİL and Istanbul Deputy Atila KAYA visited TÜVASAŞ. Welcomed by TÜVASAŞ General Manager İbrahim ERDİRYAKİ, the guests visited the factory and got detailed information about the operation of the factory and the Diesel Train Set produced.

The Chairman of the Commission, Ayhan Sefer ÜSTÜN, stated that they were very satisfied with the hospitality shown to them in Sakarya, where he came to observe the problems of the refugees with the members of the commission, and said, “We also visited Sakarya to see the refugees on site and to prepare a report. In our interviews, we have seen that our guests are satisfied with the interest shown and the work done. This made us happy too. Eliminating the difficulties refugees face and providing them with opportunities is a social awareness project for all of us.” he continued.

TÜVASAŞ General Manager İbrahim ERDİRYAKİ stated that he was very pleased with the visit and underlined that the sensitivity to the issue is an indicator of Sakarya hospitality. ERTIRYAKİ continued his words as follows: “In addition to the basic economic meaning of TÜVASAŞ for Sakarya, it is a necessity of our mission and vision to be in dialogue and cooperation with our central and local administrators in all kinds of projects to be developed in other areas in this city where we all live.

We see our refugees as our guests. It is also important for us that they can lead their lives in a healthy and peaceful way. We are ready to do our best in terms of opportunities to be offered to our guests.” The Chairman and members of the Commission, before the General Manager of TÜVASAŞ İbrahim ERDİRYAKİ, once again thanked all of Sakarya and ended his visit.
