Saadet Party launched a petition campaign to support the women's pink metrobus recommendations.
Party members gathered in Şirinevler Square, distributed bureaus to citizens and asked for support for the petition.
Nagihan Gül Asiltürk, who made a statement on behalf of the members of the Felicity Party Provincial Women's Branch, claimed that their campaigns were not ideological and said that similar practices were also in Russia and Japan.
There were those who stayed as distant as those who welcomed the proposal. Saadet Party members, who will continue to collect signatures at various metrobus stations until April 1, will give their signatures to the Metropolitan Municipality Council Presidency. The Pink Metrobus proposal was previously submitted to the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Council by the members of the Saadet Party.
