Rahmi Bayrak, 4th Regional Director of Nature Conservation and National Parks, visited Mayor Cengiz Ergün yesterday. During the visit, ideas were exchanged about the Spil cable car project, which is planned to be built on Spil Mountain in Manisa. Rahmi Bayrak said that the ropeway is also included in the project prepared for Spil Mountain.
Stating that they can collaborate with the municipality at the point of service to Manisa, Bayrak said, “Our Ministry has many projects related to Manisa. We always want to see you with us. I wanted to give you a courtesy visit today. Because you are very important to us as head of local government. You may also have expectations from us. I wanted to evaluate them. We are always with our municipality. ”

Reminding that Mevlana is considered as the starting point of the cable car in the project, Mayor Ergün said, “However, we have presented a separate project to the ministry. As an alternative route, we wanted to start behind the current Courthouse. Because there will be an excessive traffic lock in Mevlana, and those who went to Spil by cable car would never see the city. Now, at what stage of this project I would like to hear from you about this. ”
WHO CAN NOT MAKE THE TELEPHIRUS
Indicating that the projects related to the development plans of Spil Mountain have been completed, Bayrak said: “Currently, the projects prepared for infrastructure works have been completed before the superstructure works. In other words, the infrastructure project that includes the road, water, sewerage and Telecom services has been completed. A tender for this will also be held. However, there is a cable car in the Development Plan. However, there is currently no finalized project. It is not clear whether the Spil cable car project will be built by the municipality or a private company. In the project to be prepared after the technical examinations of the company to be built, the exact location of the cable car will be finalized. But there is currently no study on this, ”he said.
