Evka5 crossroad crossing in İzmir is 30 percent completed

İzmir Metropolitan Municipality completed the construction of the Evka2011 crossroad, whose foundation was laid in September 5, by 30 percent. Retaining walls and bridged junction legs on Anadolu Caddesi were built on the return connection road to Evka5. Reinforced concrete manufacturing continues in the connection section of İzmir Atatürk Organized Industrial Zone (İAOSB). The municipality, which paid 26 million 331 thousand lira expropriation fee for this project, is planning to put the bridge crossing into service next autumn, with a cost of approximately 40 million lira with construction and landscaping.

With the bridge intersection coming into service, the vehicles coming from Evka5 will be able to pass to Ata Sanayi Sitesi and İAOSB over the clover junction without interrupting Anadolu Street and the rail system. Again, cars coming from Evka5 and İAOSB will be able to pass through Aliağa and the city center without cutting Anadolu Avenue. The clover intersection to be connected to the Egekent Station built within the scope of the Aliağa-Menderes Suburban System will also ensure the distribution of passengers using the rail system from the transfer station to the city by buses.

On the other hand, for the uninterrupted transportation on the Anatolian Street, the Ulukent bridge junction continues to be constructed by the Metropolitan Municipality. This investment is planned to be commissioned in the coming year.
