Another delay has come for the Avcılar Beylikdüzü metrobus line, which is said to be operational on October 29, 2011. It has been learned that there will be a two-month delay in the Avcılar Beylikdüzü metrobus line, which is planned to be opened in mid-March 2012, due to expropriation transactions and profit.

The Avcılar-Beylikdüzü metrobus line, which was built by the Metropolitan Municipality in order to ease public transportation by reducing traffic in Istanbul, extended to May. The line, which is planned to be opened on October 29, 2011, has been delayed due to expansions in the scope of road expansion and construction works. The contractor received an extension until 15 March for the opening date, which was withdrawn in February. However, asphalting, infrastructure and superstructure works of the 12 kilometers long line have not been completed yet. The project, where the return and triage works of Avcılar and Beylikdüzü could not be carried out, was delayed by 2 months due to adverse weather conditions. The asphalt pouring process for the lanes whose road work has already been completed has been completed and the manufacturing processes on the side road continue.

NO DATE NO DATE

Manufacturing works are expected to be completed to start the construction of Metrobus stops, lighting and electronic processes. An exact date could not be determined for the completion of the ongoing works in its current state and for the opening to be made. However, it is stated that if the weather conditions improve, the opening can be made at the end of May after 3 months of work. With the commissioning of the Avcılar Beylikdüzü line, the total length of the metrobus between Söğütlüçeşme and Beylikdüzü will reach 52,5 km. On the Avcılar-Beylikdüzü metrobus line with a cost of 100 million liras, an agreement was reached with the parcel owners and expropriation of a total of 88 thousand square meters was carried out in 17 parcels.
