IMM officials stated that the opening date of the Avcılar-Beylikdüzü metrobus line is extended. The line, which is planned to open on October 29, 2011, was said to open in February due to expropriation problems. However, the line is still working. The asphalting, infrastructure and superstructure works of the 12 kilometers long line continue. Due to the negative conditions of asphalting works, even construction of stops and overpasses began.
With the launch of the Avcılar-Beylikdüzü line, the total length of the metrobus between Söğütlüçeşme and Beylikdüzü will reach 52,5 km. On the Avcılar-Beylikdüzü metrobus line, which cost 100 million lira, a total of 88 thousand square meters of expropriation was made in 17 parcels, upon agreement with the owners of the parcel.
