Mitso signs Railway Feasibility Agreement with Geka

Signed for the project of preparing the feasibility of the railway which is planned to be built between Milas OSB and Güllük Port, which will be realized by MİTSO with the support of 56 bin 300 lira from GEKA.

A contract was signed with the South Aegean Development Agency for the project of preparing the feasibility of the railway, which is planned to be built between the OIZ and Güllük Port of the Milas Chamber of Commerce and Industry. According to the signed contract; Within the scope of GEKA's “Direct Activity Support”, the feasibility of the OSB - Güllük Port railway, which will be prepared with a grant support of 56 thousand 300 liras, will be completed in three months.

Long time ago; The project prepared by MİTSO for the preparation of the feasibility between the OIZ and the Güllük Port has been one of the 82 projects provided with the grant support within the 16 project application made to GEKA. For the finalization of the project, the Chairman of the Board of Directors Enver Tuna and MİTSO's project manager Gülay Aytaç went to the GEKA headquarters in Denizli. The contract was signed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors Enver Tuna.

According to the project which is finalized by signing; GEKA will provide MİTSO with the support of 56 thousand 300 liras in the context of Dest Direct Activity Support ”for the feasibility of the railway which is planned to be built between Milas OSB and Güllük Port. For the preparation of the feasibility, MİTSO will be invited to submit proposals to at least five companies or universities. At least three of these institutions will be offered and the feasibility of the railway will be prepared within 3 months.

Enver Tuna, who signed the contract with GEKA on behalf of MİTSO, stated that they are proud to have provided grant support for another important project as MITSO “Preparing the railway feasibility is actually a first step for us. The continuation of this step will come. If the feasibility results give a positive result as we predicted, that is, if it turns out that the railroad between Milas OSB and Güllük Port will be economically beneficial, this time we will plaster the arms for the construction of this railway. ” Enver Tuna emphasized that their main goal is to connect the Güllük Port to the national railway network beyond the connection of Milas OSB and Güllük Port to the national railway network. Thus, we can ensure that all export products, from feldspar to marble, from textile to forest products, to the world markets from Güllük Port in the most economical way. ”
