3. 9 investor for bridge received specification

3 domestic and foreign investor groups have received specifications from the day the tender calendar started to build the 9rd bridge to be built in the Bosphorus.

According to the information received by the AA reporter from the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, Astaldi from Italy, POSCO from South Korea, Park Holding, to participate in the bridge tender, which was announced on 28 January and will be built with the Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model. MAPA, STFA, Güriş, Atlı Makina, Yapı Merkezi and Cengiz İnşaat received specification.

For the tender to be held on April 5, domestic and foreign companies continue to receive specification by examining the tender documents.

In this context, OHL from Spain, Mitsubishi from Japan, Porr from Austria, Vinci from Italy, IHI, Obayashi and Kajima from Japan and Motogrill from Portugal examined the tender documents.

Vehicle warranty improved

No proposal was received for the tender for the North Marmara Motorway and 10rd Bridge construction on January 3. The General Directorate of Highways of the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, which acted upon this, divided the project into 2 sections. From the revised project, it was decided to tender the 3-kilometer connection roads with the 90rd bridge with the BOT model.

The construction of approximately 314 kilometers of highways in the Asian and European parts of the Northern Marmara Highway Project was adopted.

General Directorate of Highways, 3. bridges and connecting roads will pass the entire expropriation in the section. In the first tender, the vehicle warranty equivalent to 100 thousand cars was also increased to 135 thousand in the new tender.

On the other hand, the law proposal to exempt the bridge construction from VAT is accepted by the Parliamentary Plan and Budget Committee and is waiting to be discussed at the General Assembly.

The 3rd bridge to be built in the Bosphorus will pass further north of the Bosphorus and Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridges. The bridge to be built between Garipçe and Poyrazköy location will be 1275 meters long.
