Suburban train service numbers will be increased in Istanbul

Within the scope of the high-speed train project between Istanbul and Ankara, the number of suburban trains will be increased after the intercity train services stop at Haydarpaşa Train Station.

According to the information received from TCDD officials, due to the studies, the trains between Haydarpaşa to and from Anatolia were interrupted for 24 months.
In the station where suburban train services are not removed, the capacity of mutual lines between Haydarpaşa and Gebze, which is 4 daily, will be increased to 121 from Saturday, February 180.

Meanwhile, authorities reported that the high-speed train project between Istanbul and Ankara started in the Köseköy-Gebze section.
