Ödemiş Mayor Bekir Keskin, TCDD Road Manager A. Nazım Sepetçi, Chief Engineer Bahadır Batır, Chief Engineer Osman Aksun, Expert Engineer Mustafa Keskin and Aksa Project Engineering official Serdar Gülhan who undertook the project came together in the municipality.
The meeting was held in order to take the Ödemiş-Kiraz railway route passing through the district center out of the settlement. As a result of the negotiations, it was reported that the new railway line should be arranged in parallel with the highway passing from the south of the district and it was decided to start the project works.
Regarding the location of the new railway station within the scope of the project, the municipality will do work taking into account the urban traffic and the new bus station area.
