Keçiören-Tandoğan Metro Line in Ankara will be completed in 780 days as a result of the signatures and will start to serve the citizens of the Capital.
The construction contract for the Keçiören-Tandoğan Metro Line was signed with the ministry and the Gülermak-Kolin business partnership at a ceremony held at the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications. Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Banil Yıldırım, who came to the podium before the signing ceremony, said that with the signature of the Keçiören-Tandoğan metro line, the tenders of the Kızılay-Çayyolu and Sincan-Batıkent lines were made and the contracts of these two lines would be signed within 1-2 weeks.
Emphasizing that the construction of 3 lines will be started simultaneously, Minister Yıldırım said, “If everything goes well, if there is no extraordinary event, these subways will be put into service within 2-2,5 years. Sometimes unforeseen situations can occur in underground works. We will work day and night. We will do our best to ensure that our contractors do not encounter any difficulties. We know how important and urgent the responsibility we take on us is. But nobody should doubt that we will mobilize all means on this issue. " said.
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Melih Gokcek who spoke in the program as a municipality is not enough to finish the subways said.
Reminding that a new 44-kilometer line will be added to Ankara's rail system line, Gökçek said, “We spent 143 million lira for the construction of Keçiören-Tandoğan Metro Line.
