High Speed Train (YHT) project between Izmir and Ankara will decrease the time of Manisa-Ankara to 3,5 hours. AK Party deputy Manisa Selcuk Ozdag said the YHT line will be 623 kilometers, 6 million passengers per year is aimed to move between the two cities, he said.
Stating that the line that will pass through Manisa will significantly facilitate transportation with Ankara, Member of Parliament Özdağ said: “202 million 122 thousand 800 TL portion of the project will invest in the provincial borders of Manisa. The signaling and electrical location projects between Manisa-Menemen and Manisa-Balıkesir-Bandırma-İzmir will be completed by 2013 for the high-speed train that will end in 2015. ” said. Emphasizing that there are no bottlenecks and economic difficulties towards realizing these projects, Selçuk Özdağ said, “We are working with five AK Party deputies to bring Manisa to the point it deserves. We continue our efforts to serve Manisa by adding our night to our day. ” he spoke.
