Gesob: Giresun would be included in the railway project if he could defend his rights

Kara stated that the best and economic route for the railway line to be brought to the region by the government is Erzincan-Gümüşhane-Tirebolu line and that some sections of the railway route have been tried to be changed on behalf of micro-nationalism.

"Giresun was once again the loser in a vital project." Kara continued his words as follows: “This situation is an indication of Giresun's lack of ownership. Giresun could not defend his rights. Unfortunately, once again, we see Giresun's desolation as this project shifts to another route. " Kara called on Giresun Governor Dursun Ali Şahin and Giresun Mayor Kerim Aksu to form a union with all non-governmental organizations in Giresun.

Stating that the whole of the Eastern Black Sea Region will be beneficial if the project takes place over the Erzincan-Gümüşhane-Tirebolu line, Kara said: “If the aim here is to win the whole region, the Erzincan-Gümüşhane-Tirebolu route should be used for the railway. Because this is the best and most economical route. In addition, in case of landing on the coast from this route, both Giresun and all districts in the west of Trabzon will benefit from this project. Not only certain segments but also regions are addressed. For this reason, all NGOs, especially our Dear Governor and Mayor, should come together in Giresun. The districts located in the bar part of Trabzon should also join this partnership. Joint action must be taken. Because everyone here loses. "
