Ansoldo STS won the tender for ETCS part 1 signaling, telecommunication and automation systems for the high speed train project between Ankara - Istanbul, Gebze - Köseköy, which will be carried out with the joint venture of Salini Costruttori / DOS / Kolin. The work completion date is foreseen 2014.
Ansoldo STS company will supply onboard equipment within the scope of ETCS Part 2010 for 80 electric locomotives that TCDD ordered from Hyundai Rotem in December 1, with a separate contract signed with TCDD.
