BDJ: Belgrade yolcu Istanbul passenger train derailed


The locomotive of the passenger train, which made the Istanbul flight, derailed in the Simeonovgrad region in the south of Bulgaria.

According to the information obtained from the Bulgarian State Railways (BDJ), rock fragments falling on the railway as a result of the landslide in the region caused the train's locomotive to derail against this morning at 06.02.2110 - 02.20.

While the authorities described the accident as "light", it was learned that there was no problem with the health of the passengers on the train, where the heating system worked continuously.

Passengers were reportedly released from the train, which was towed to another station by Simeonovgrad station.
