Construction Contract Between Ministry and Contractor Firms was signed for Sincan Metro Works.

A construction contract was signed between the Ministry and the contractor companies for the metro works transferred from the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality to the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications.
Concrete steps have been taken for the metro, which will add value to daily life with the ease it will bring in the field of transportation. A construction contract was signed between the Ministry and the contractor companies for the subway works that were transferred from the Metropolitan Municipality to the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications in April last year.
Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, Binali Yıldırım, Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Melih Gökçek, Ministry bureaucrats, Sincan Mayor Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Tuna, Ankara's mayors and contractor company representatives attended.
It was stated that the parts of the Ankara metro, which were completed before the transfer, will be the 92 in the Kızılay-Çayyolu line and 73 in the Sincan-Batıkent line, while the remaining parts will be concluded as soon as possible.
Sincan Mayor Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Tuna said, “The need for a subway is essential for Ankara in general but for our Sincan in particular. The metro will be an important transportation alternative for our county, which is growing day by day. I would like to thank our Ministry and everyone who contributed for their valuable services. ”
