With the ceremony held at Rixos Hotel, 36-year operating right of İskenderun Port, owned by TCDD, is transferred to Limak Investment.
The tender was made once for 2005 regarding the privatization of İskenderun Port, but the tender was canceled. A tender was held for the second time on May 17, 2010 for the privatization of the port, and 16 offers were received on September 2010, 12, which was the last bidding bid.
