Today in History: 13 January 1931 Atatürk's speech on the importance of Railways

In Atatürk Malatya, after saying that railways are a more important defense weapon than rifle, “Turkish nation, the first artistry in its birth; will be proud to have shown the work of blacksmithing again. Railways are the roads of prosperity and civilization of the Turkish nation. Turkey will rise developments in railways economic life. The happiness and independence of the nation will go through these ways. ”
