Sakarya Metropolitan Mayor Toçoğlu: 'After we move the train station to the new terminal, we will realize the first phase of our city rail system project ”
Sakarya Metropolitan Mayor Zeki Toçoğlu stated that they will realize the first phase of the city rail system project after they move the Adapazarı Train Station to the intercity bus terminal in Arifiye district.
According to the written statement from the Metropolitan Municipality of Sakarya, the Governor of Sakarya Mustafa Büyük, AK Party deputies Hasan Ali Çelik, Ayhan Sefer Üstün, Şaban Ağır, Ayşenur Islam, Ali İhsan Yavuz and Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Toçoğlu, Transportation Minister Binali Yıldırım, by transportation discussed related projects.
At the meeting, the evaluations regarding the work carried out by the Ministry of Transportation in Sakarya and the transportation of Adapazarı Train Station to the intercity bus terminal in Arifiye were discussed.

As Metropolitan Municipality, we have started our works to realize this project without losing any time as of today. Then, we will work for our city rail system project to serve on different lines. Hopefully, as a result of our work, we will realize this prestige project, which is of great importance for Sakarya, and move the train station to the new terminal. ”
According to the statement, Mustafa Büyük, Governor of Sakarya, expressed that they are pleased to get back for their struggle to make new investments in Sakarya, which is growing rapidly every day.
Stating that the government gives support to Sakarya in all matters, Ayhan Sefer Üstün, Chairman of the Parliamentary Human Rights Investigation Committee and AK Party Sakarya Deputy, said, “We have been doing some work in Ankara for a while, together with our Governor and Metropolitan Mayor. In this framework, we are working on new investments and new projects in our city. Finally, we met with our Minister of Transport, Mr. Binali Yıldırım. In this meeting, which took place in a beautiful environment, very important issues were discussed. Of course, the most important was the moving of the train station to the new terminal.
