Iznik Tile Foundation exhibited Iznik Tiles with a night held in the management center in Etiler. Iznik Tile Foundation started to reproduce real Ottoman business tiles after 2 years of work with TÜBİTAK and R&D departure. President of the Foundation Işıl Akbaygil explained the international successes of the foundation at night. Stating that they are the most important projects of their restoration work at Masjid Aksa, Akbaygil said: “It has been 2 years since we started working and 14 thousand tiles were made. Old tiles were given to us. We examined old tiles in an electronic microscope and produced the same. The produced parts went in two batches. Its assembly started. Currently, the assembly is still ongoing. We restored the chain dome in Masjid Aksa. Zincirli Dome was built previously in Masjid Aksa and the same model was taken as a larger model to make Masjid Aksa. It has regained the same quality and the same wonderful image in the 16th century. ”

Underlining that they have been working for Tokyo Metrsu for a long time, Akbaygil said that they are working on tree and plant culture in Japan and said:
“They have a very important tree called the Kafu Tree. His pictures came to us. We made and sent the patterns from his pictures. Worked on the trunk of the tree. Patterns are finished now. We will start production tomorrow the next day. It will take 1.5 - 2 months in production. After that, we are starting to cover other subways of the world with Iznik Tiles like the Istanbul Metro.
