Afghanistan asked for support for rail

Afghanistan's National Assembly President Brahimi, reported that they attempted to Turkey for official establishment of the railway network in Afghanistan.

Speaking to Anadolu Agency (AA), President of Afghanistan National Assembly İbrahimi stated that he went from Ankara to Konya on the high-speed train (YHT), which he boarded for the first time in his life, and said he was very impressed by YHT.

Explaining that a new railway line was established in a distance of 70 km between the Hayratan region of Uzbekistan and Mezarı Sharif in Afghanistan and that this is the only railway line in Afghanistan, Ibrahimi stated that this railway has not yet been put into operation.
