The contract for the Yerköy-Sivas High Speed ​​​​Train Project, which will be realized by the China Major Road Bridge-Cengiz Mapa Limak Kolin Joint Venture, was signed on November 5, 2008, and the project tender price is 839.713.450.02 TL. With this project, the Ankara-Sivas route, which is 602 kilometers, will be shortened by 141 kilometers to 461 kilometers. When the project is completed, the current travel time between Ankara and Sivas will be reduced from 12 hours to 2 hours 51 minutes.

The route continues through Yerköy, Yozgat, Sorgun, Saraykent, Yıldızeli and ends in Sivas. The planned rail is double track and the platform width is 15 meters. Within the scope of the project will be 10 bin 92 meter tunnel, 2 bin 830 meter viaduct, 2 bin 631 meter stream crossing bridge, thousand 140 meter at the top crossing bridge. The end of the work is one thousand 80 days and the project will be delivered on 4 November 2011.
