An additional 400m-euro loan agreement between the EIB and TCDD was signed on 14 December 2011. This additional credit, total EIB support given to high-speed rail to EUR 1.25 billion and the total amount of Turkey's railway system access to EIB support in the last decade to 2.4 billion euros released.
