Ankara-Konya High Speed ​​Train (YHT) line, 23.08.2011 will be launched on Tuesday.

According to the information the AA correspondent received from TCDD General Directorate officials, the YHT will depart from Ankara Station on the evening of August 23, for the opening of the line, whose technical tests and communication software works have been completed without any problems.

After the iftar dinner to be given to those who will attend the ceremony in Konya, a ceremony will be held at the Gar and the line will be opened to operation.

300 YHT set will be used in December and 12 YHT set will be used for 350 trains in a short time.

1 hour and 30 minutes travel time between the two provinces will be put into service between Ankara and Sincan.

In the first stage, there will be a stop at the YHT Station in Polatlı as an intermediate stop in some of the flights on the line, which will be organized 4 flights, 4 departures and 8 arrivals.
