Nemrut Mountain or Nemrut Stratovolkan is one of the high mountains located in Eastern Anatolia in Tatvan district of Bitlis Province. It falls to the west of Lake Van. Nemrut is an active volcano sleeping and it was the lava outlet for the last time in 1441. Nemrut Lake is located in the crater on its top. The highest peak around the crater is Sivritepe 2935 m, East Nemrut Hill 2625 m, Tursuktepe 2828 m in the south and Nemrut Mountain Hill 2801 m in the west.
Chairlift Made to Nemrut Mountain: STM System Cable Car and 2-person Chairlift to Nemrut Mountain, which is suitable for all ski sports, makes its visitors taste the pleasure of skiing with a magnificent view. The system has an intermediate station and carries those who want to reach more difficult tracks to the summit.
