Speaking at the ceremony where the first stage keys of the Sahabiye Urban Transformation Project and the Seyrani Urban Transformation Project were given by the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu said that the construction of the Anafartalar Tram line, which is 6,8 kilometers, will start soon.

Stating that he is very happy to be in Kayseri, Karaismailoğlu said: “In 2003, especially as the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, we increased the length of the divided road from 6 thousand kilometers to 27 thousand kilometers with the works we carried out throughout our country. We extended the length of the 83 kilometers divided road in Kayseri by 640 kilometers with a great leap forward. We have 15 active projects in Kayseri in terms of highways. Hopefully, we will complete these as soon as possible and contribute to Kayseri's economy and production.

We also made the tender of our Anafartalar Tram Project, which is one of the most important projects for Kayseri. We will start the construction of our 6,8-kilometer line soon. We will connect the City Hospital, bus station and high speed train station. We increased the number of airports from 26 to 56. We made the airway the way of the people. We reached 20 million passengers from 210 million. We made a tender for an airport that would suit Kayseri, and we will soon determine the location and start its construction. We will hopefully bring together the residents of Kayseri with the terminal that we will build on an area of 37 thousand 500 square meters. We aim to start in the next days and finish within 2 years. It will be an airport with a capacity of 5 million. We have many ongoing projects like this. We will hopefully be together with projects that add value to the life of Kayseri with our whole team. I wish the turnkey projects to be beneficial. "
