Anti-Aircraft Gun Firing Tests Produced by MKEK Successfully Completed

The 25-millimeter anti-aircraft gun, produced by the Mechanical and Chemical Industry Corporation (MKEK), affiliated to the Ministry of National Defense, successfully completed the firing tests.

Machinery and Chemical Industry Corporation (MKEK), affiliated with the Ministry of National Defense, which intensifies its production of modern weapons and ammunition in parallel with R&D studies, has come to an end in the production of a new weapon system.

The 25-millimeter anti-aircraft gun, produced entirely with domestic and national facilities, can fire single, triple, ten and serial shots. The weapon, which is a low kadenz or high kadenz firing mode, has a low arrest rate thanks to the rotating mechanism system.

The weapon, which can be used in armored vehicles and remotely controlled weapon towers, will be able to serve as the main weapon day and night, in all weather conditions and combat environments. It successfully completed the firing tests of the 25 mm weapon system, which is capable of effectively firing many different targets, at MKEK Çankırı Weapon Factory Directorate.

MKEK is developing the "76 / 62mm Naval Gun" for existing ships in the Turkish Naval Forces.
