Antalya Metropolitan Municipality continues the daily cleaning and disinfection processes in public transportation vehicles with precision within the scope of corona virus measures. A meticulous effort is carried out to ensure that tens of thousands of local and foreign citizens travel in a hygienic and safe environment.
In Antalya, which hosts a large number of local and foreign guests on the days of the tourism season, public transportation vehicles carrying tens of thousands of citizens every day are disinfected by the Metropolitan Municipality teams for prevention against corona virus and epidemic diseases.
EVERYDAY REASONABLE CLEANING
Metropolitan Municipality Department of Transportation Planning and Rail System regularly cleans buses and trams that provide urban public transportation services in Antalya and disinfects them against bacteria and viruses. Transportation vehicles are subjected to detailed disinfection processes with cold ULV (Fine Spray) machine as well as interior and exterior cleaning works.
FIGHT FOR PUBLIC HEALTH
Disinfection teams affiliated to Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Environmental Protection and Control Department routinely disinfect the grab handles, seats, ventilation covers, glass and metal surfaces on buses during cleaning works. The buses, which provide transportation services to many points including the city and the plateaus, are disinfected every day before and after the expedition and prepared for the journey in a sterile manner.
