EGO General Directorate has increased the number of transportation personnel in order to increase the quality of bus services with the vision of being an institution that brings Ankara residents to life in peace and security. 9 transportation personnel, including 119 women, who have succeeded in the written and practical exam, have started their duties.

In the next period, women will be at the wheel in EGO buses. As of today, 2019 transportation personnel, 9 women and 110 men, have started their duties in the written and practical exams held in 119.

The transportation personnel, whose assignments are made primarily in the regions close to their addresses, will be gradually subjected to training. They will receive training on vehicle maintenance, repair and maneuvering, especially occupational health and safety. After these trainings, which will be given by experts and will take at least three months, the staff will be ready to use the buses.

EGO General Directorate, which currently serves with 2500 bus drivers, will increase this number to 9 with 2619 female employees who will be in their staff for the first time after a long break.
