Bursa Metro Projects Still Waiting, Signatures Signed in Konya Metro

You have a right to your Kentis the locomotive of Turkey's economy, but not delivered.

Neither your subway nor your high-speed train or your safe road projects between the districts have been completed.

Yesterday, a friend who was worried about Bursa sent it to our e-mail.

Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor İbrahim Halil Altay proudly shared a post on his social media account.

Our friend took a screenshot of that share and threw it at us.

In Konya, Necmettin Erbakan University, New YHT Gar Fetih Caddesi, Meram Municipality Light Rail System Line Construction Works and the Contract for the Supply and Operation of Electromechanical Systems and the Supply of Railway Vehicles were signed with a ceremony between CMC Taşyapı Consortium.

It is a really gratifying moment for Konya.

President Altay announced this moment to all his fellow citizens from social media as follows;

“We witnessed a historical moment for our city. The signature of Konya Metro, the biggest state investment in the history of Konya, was signed. Good luck to our Konya. In this process, I would like to thank our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, our Minister of Transport and all those who contributed. ”

It would be a lie if we said we weren't jealous.

We look forward to sharing this with your local managers.

Believe me, we're not tired of writing and drawing. We will continue to write without getting bored until the metro becomes our expectations and our hands hold pencils.

Our system against the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, which remains insensitive to Bursa's demands, will continue as a Bursa citizen.

We convey our appraisals to how many bureaucrats who are in Bursa in this regard.

31 months have passed since President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's promise for the Bursa Metro, Terminal Tram Line and the roads and tunnels of Mountain districts in Bursa Gökdere Square in February, before the March 9 Local Elections.

There's nothing concrete.

There was no noticeable improvement in the projects that the President himself called 'In my pursuit'.

It is not possible to see the Ministry Altapı Investments General Directorate teams in Bursa.

It is understood that our politicians and deputies are not effective when Ankara keeps away from these issues.

We are faced with the resistance of the Ankara bureaucracy that does not take Bursa into account in its just demand.

You know, the bureaucratic oligarchy, which President Erdogan frequently complains about, shows itself by resisting Bursa's demands.

We can say that breaking this is not possible with system change.

Despite the presidential government system, Ankara's strict, cold bureaucracy is unfortunately a big obstacle for Bursa's justified expectations.

We don't know how to break this.

Bursa will continue to wait.

Moreover, the added value it provides to the country is ignored.

Ankara, which provides rail system support to Konya, Sivas and Erzincan, in short to other cities that come to mind, continues to bypass Bursa.

Yes, Bursa has an existing Bursaray line, but Ankara does not have a hole in it.

It was all done with the city budget.

The long-term loan received from German Kfw for Bursaray is well paid from the budget of the Metropolitan Municipality.

What if the Lightning Metro will also be undertaken by the ministry?

Does the country sink?

Ignoring Bursa's wishes, shortcomings and projects is the greatest injustice to this city.

Moreover, in every election, a city of political movement in Turkey has given support on average in action.
