Kardemir Karabük Iron and Steel Industry and Trade Inc., (KARDEMİR), as every year, this year opened its doors to vocational high school students for internship. 120 students studying at vocational high schools in Karabük province started the 2019-2020 period skill training in our company today.
Due to the beginning of the new skills training period, the opening ceremony held in Kardemir Education Culture Center, students with their families to participate in the internship, the ceremony held at the ceremony, the school's principal and teachers did not leave students alone. Company's Human Resources and Administrative Affairs Deputy General Manager Uğur Altundağ and Education Manager Burcu Öztürk also attended the opening of the students individually made personal protective equipment materials were distributed.
Later, students who were admitted to the training hall were given detailed information about Kardemir Skill Training Policies and Criteria, which included many innovations from student selection to education and evaluation process. Altundağ emphasized that they expect superior success in their schools and later internships with the new criteria determined and stated that this success will be the most important criterion to start work in Kardemir when they graduate. Uğur Altundağ stated that they are always open to the suggestions of the students in all subjects and wished all students a successful internship period. After the opening program, the students started their skills training and participated in the technical tour organized in the factory with their families and teachers.
