Alsancak Station Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD), hosted by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality organized the second time this year with the support and which will end on April 23 Retro Festival opened its doors to the public.

The opening of the Izmir Retro Festival was held at the TCDD 3rd Region History Alsancak Train Station. TCDD 3. The Retro Festival, organized for the second time this year in Alsancak Station, will last until April 23, attracts great interest from art and antique enthusiasts. The festival takes us back to the past with its nostalgic decoration inside, antiques, vintage clothes, old toys, dance performances, competitions, concerts, food and drinks, boutique chocolate and confectionery booths. 72 participating companies participating in the festival compete with each other in stand design and elegance with their antique, vintage and retro products.

The Retro Festival also includes 16 classic cars brought from the collection of the Izmir Classic Automobile Association. For the first time in the festival, with the contributions of TCDD, the old Sıhhiye Wagon and Yaver Wagon, which Kazım Karabekir traveled, were also opened to visitors.

Izmir final feature of the Retro Festival is Turkey's first and only concept retro festival. İzmir Retro Festival, which hosted the 26.000 visitors at its first event, will meet with the noltalji lovers every year in April and October; is taking our childhood again with the competition and activities.
