TCDD General Manager İsa Apaydınexamined the works on the Samsun-Sivas (Kalın) railway line, whose modernization works are ongoing, and received information from the authorities about the ongoing works.
General Manager Apaydın, Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zihni Şahin also exchanged views on the Samsun high-speed train project.
When completed, the travel time between Samsun and Sivas will be reduced from 9,5 to 5 hours and will be equipped with a signaling system, and the bottom and superstructure works will be completed by the end of the year.
