Financing the Extension of the Tram Line of Rabat, Morocco's Capital
It has been announced by the European Investment Bank (EIB) that a new financing opportunity of 50 million Euros will be provided for the project to be carried out for the extension of the Rabat Sale tram line. The bank, which gave an important financial support to the first phase of the project in 2011, announced that it will also support the project to be carried out to extend the line. It was announced that the extension will consist of 7 km and 13 stations in total, while 4 stations in the Rabat section and 2.4 stations and 9 km in the 4.6 km Sale section will be extended.
